Festivals Australia is an Australian Government funding program designed to assist the presentation of arts and cultural activities at Australian regional and community festivals. The emphasis is on supporting new projects, which add to the quality and diversity of the arts and cultural programming of regular Australian regional and community festivals.
The next funding round closes on 15 July 2009, for projects beginning after 1 January 2010.
Festivals Australia funding is primarily available for cultural, community and local government organisations that run festivals in regional and remote areas of Australia
